First week after FR

Well, I have been home a week now and I have to say it hasn't been as hard as I thought it would be to stay on track! I am PROUD to say, that I still have not had any fast food!!! (Subway doesnt count) I exercised 5 out of the 7 days, and managed to lose 10 pounds! I was told at FR that the first week after you get back you will continue to lose rapidly, so I am glad that was true!!

So, from my heaviest weight, at the beginning of this year, I have lost a total of 43 pounds! I have GAINED way more then I have lost. Not in weight, but in knowledge. Knowledge about food, exercise, and most importantly about myself. I have learned that I am WORTH IT!! I have learned that I am important enough to be doing something for myself for a change, and if others have a problem with that, then too bad. I have learned that I can't keep putting others first, especially when it puts me in a vulnerable situation. I have learned that I HAVE WILL POWER!!! I have learned that water really isn't that long as it is COLD enough.

I went back to work today (well, actually last Friday but then I had the weekend off), after having 5 weeks off, and have realized that I actually missed it! And come to find out, they missed me too (well, that is what they say anyway) LOL. I am lucky to have a job that I enjoy and that is so rewarding.

There are other areas of my life that I am definately still working on, but I think, I KNOW, that the 4 weeks I spent away from home have helped me realize what is and isn't important in my life, and I will forever be greatful to all the people (staff and guests) at Fitness Ridge!! THANK YOU!!!
